Job Profile
The company is hiring a CNC Machine Operator II who will set up and operate one or more CNC production machines following established procedures and guidelines.
Works under moderate supervision.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in CNC machine operation or a related field
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adjustments: Select appropriate settings and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure materials on the machine.
- Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC production machines according to procedures and guidelines.
- Precision and Timeliness: Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- QC: Micrometer, Height Gage, Depth Gage, Caliper
- Supervision: Work under general supervision or a lead person, ensuring quality and efficiency in all operations.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, adjust machine settings, and perform tasks accurately and timely.
Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Noise levels may require participation in the Hearing Conservation Program.
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
