Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Machinist to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Prior CNC machining experience (an asset)
  • Overhead crane experience (required)
  • Familiar with writing and understanding Macros

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Checking quality as per work instructions and producing quality products
  • Maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Maintaining job specifications by using various types of measuring tools such as micrometers, depth mics,
  • hold gauges, edge finders, tape measures, etc.
  • Performing setups and operating the CNC Mill
  • Prepare the machine for production by setting up tooling, controls, and programming
  • Process parts by studying job orders and applying knowledge of materials and processes
  • Helping in other areas as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Basic computer and programming skills (required)
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills (required)
  • Must be quality and detail-oriented
