Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Machinist who will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience with setting up and operating CNC equipment
• Instead of 3 years of set-up and operation experience, an associate’s machining technology degree is acceptable.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing

License/Certification

• Technical Certification or Associate Degree in machining or a related field

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Computer skills that demonstrate the ability to use CNC interfaces to read, run, and edit computer-based machine job programs
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Work Environment

• Exposure to loud noise, metal shavings, coolants, and lubricants
• May work shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime
• Operates heavy machinery with strict safety procedures
• Stands for long periods and performs repetitive tasks
• Works in machine shops, manufacturing plants, or production facilities
