The company is searching for a CNC Machinist (Falcon) to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalency certificate
Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in the setup, operation, or programming of a CNC mill
- Experience working with various materials, such as Inconel, stainless steel, copper, and titanium
Duties/Responsibilities
- Communicate with shop leadership when production is inhibited
- Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
- Continuously provide feedback for process improvements
- Inspect parts using hand tools to verify dimensions
- Meet expectations for productivity
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Mills up to 5-axis
- Work with complex, tight-tolerance parts and various materials
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read and work from a blueprint
- Ability to use hand inspection tools to check machined features
- Familiar with multiple machine controls, OSP, Fanuc, and Siemens
- Read and understand blueprints, GD&T, notes, and tolerances
- Understand basic G-Code and be comfortable making adjustments to feed/speed
Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
- Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting
