Job Profile

The company is seeking is CNC Operator who will operate CNC milling equipment and other related equipment necessary to machine honeycomb materials to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Responsible for setting up and operating numerical control machines to perform various machine functions such as cutting and milling of metallic and nonmetallic cores to ensure that only the highest quality product is delivered.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
• 1-year certificate from college or technical school (required)

Work Experience

• Possess 1-3 years of similar work in a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing three and five-axis NC machining of metallic or composite products where hand forming, carving, or hand tool machining of light gauge or delicate materials are required.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist other departments that need help (including but not limited to shipping, or helping other operators with oversized honeycomb materials).
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve scrap and quality issues with assistance from engineering, supervision, and upper-level managers.
• Obtain parts for the department as assigned.
• Performs product packaging, tagging, and labeling duties as assigned.
• Performs routine operator-level preventative maintenance, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, product, and supplies to ensure the highest possible standards of cleanliness in accordance with established company procedures and Form B on a daily basis.
• Provide coverage running the CNC machines for CNC operators.
• Remove finished parts from CNC machines.
• Set up parts on fixtures.
