Job Profile

The company (Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa Subsidiary) is hiring a CNC Programmer who will develop, evaluate, and improve the production processes and methodologies used to manufacture new and existing products.

Focus on CNC programming and provide problem-solving support to production.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology from a college/university (preferred)

Work Experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements
  • Effectively create and troubleshoot CNC programs for the designated machines
  • Follow established safety and environmental procedures to ensure a clean, safe work environment
  • Help develop, maintain, and improve departmental measures
  • Provide CNC expertise to support the manufacturing floor
  • Provide support to the design team to improve quality, manufacturing issues, and cost performance
  • Support quality systems and customer certification initiatives by participating in project teams for continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of metals manufacturing and tooling
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving techniques, including team problem solving
