Job Profile

The company is looking for a CNC Setter/Operator (MK1) to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required basic schooling or equivalent

Work Experience

• Experience working within a busy Manufacturing environment
• Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with Fanuc/Sieman controls
• Aerospace experience would be advantageous

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
• In process deburring and Self Inspection
• Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
• Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
• Self-certification of personal work.
• Set, Fault Find, and Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
• To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to upload the proven program.
• To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure the product meets the required specifications.

General Company Support-

• Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others.
• To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams.
• Work as a fully flexible team member within the Company to maximize levels of production and quality.
• Maximize plant and resource utilization.
