Job Profile
The company is searching for a Controls Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving highly automated controls, robotic, and welding systems.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix, Guard Logix, PanelView plus platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities
- As needed, design and program PLC, HMI, robots, and other types of electronic or electrical manufacturing equipment.
- Continuous improvement activities such as cycle time reduction, standardization of existing equipment, and incorporation of error-proofing strategies.
- Lead in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to program Panel View (HMI) and PLC.
- Able to manage project details to ensure perfect quality in work output.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to utilize computer-aided modeling to ensure that the workout meets the needs of the customer (internal and external)
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Electrical knowledge: Install hardware and wiring,
- The ability to focus on the benefits of change and see it as positive; approaches change or newness in a constructive/objective manner; views change as a learning opportunity.
- Able to work collaboratively with different team members and different levels of the organization (internal and external)
- Program and debug automated robotic welding, sealing, fastening, and assembly systems.
- Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships
Work Environment
- Exposed to machinery and control systems
- May travel to client locations
- Must follow safety and engineering standards
- Split between desk work and fieldwork
- Works in offices and industrial sites
