Job Profile

The company is searching for a Controls Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving highly automated controls, robotic, and welding systems.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (required)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix, Guard Logix, PanelView plus platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities

• As needed, design and program PLC, HMI, robots, and other types of electronic or electrical manufacturing equipment.
• Continuous improvement activities such as cycle time reduction, standardization of existing equipment, and incorporation of error-proofing strategies.
• Lead in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to program Panel View (HMI) and PLC.
• Able to manage project details to ensure perfect quality in work output.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to utilize computer-aided modeling to ensure that the workout meets the needs of the customer (internal and external)
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Electrical knowledge: Install hardware and wiring,
• The ability to focus on the benefits of change and see it as positive; approaches change or newness in a constructive/objective manner; views change as a learning opportunity.
• Able to work collaboratively with different team members and different levels of the organization (internal and external)
• Program and debug automated robotic welding, sealing, fastening, and assembly systems.
• Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships

Work Environment

• Exposed to machinery and control systems
• May travel to client locations
• Must follow safety and engineering standards
• Split between desk work and fieldwork
• Works in offices and industrial sites
