Job Profile

The company is searching for a CR/RT Pipeline Technician who will be performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Must be capable of interpreting welds made from various processes according to but not limited to ASME, ANSI, API, and AWS codes.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certified Level II CR/RT
  • Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP) or applicable agreement state card in X-Ray or Gamma Ray
  • Level II MT, PT, and UT T (a plus)
  • Some college degree (preferred)

Work Experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Acuren and Client safety programs
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  • Conduct Radiographic tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
  • Control the radiation area
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Fill out daily radiation reports
  • Interpret radiographs
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • May perform specialized inspections
  • Organize and report test results
  • Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
