The company is recruiting a Cryogenic Field Service Technician to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma (required)

Work Experience

  • 1 year of experience with high-pressure systems and manifolds (required)
  • 1 year of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Attends in-house and external training to become proficient in working with bulk gas delivery systems serviced by Airgas.
  • Install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels in industrial, medical, specialty gas, and welding markets.
  • Install and maintain cryogenic pumping systems on delivery trucks.
  • Install and maintain cryogenic pumps at Airgas plants and branches.
  • Maintains company vehicle, tools, truck inventory, and equipment to be able to respond to customer needs on time.
  • Performs installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on bulk gas delivery systems manufactured or distributed by Airgas Intermountain.
  • Travel daily with overnight stays as needed.
  • Safely operates an Airgas vehicle from the facility to customer locations to complete duties and work orders.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • A clean MVR, a valid driver’s license, and insurance are required.
  • The ability to plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment is required.
  • General mechanical skills are required.
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

  • Wears heavy safety and thermal gear
  • Works in cold and hazardous environments
