Job Profile
The company is seeking a Fabricator who will be responsible for assembling finished metal-based assemblies, fixtures, tools, and skid-based systems using various manual and power tools, as well as metal cutting and material handling equipment, i.e., forklifts and overhead cranes.
Work with different types of fabrication materials and assemblies such as steel in various forms, tubing, sheet metal, wall insulation, internal/external wall panels, door systems, and roofing materials.
In addition to assembly, the Fabricator must have
Education Level
- High School Diploma (credible)
Work Experience
- Must have experience working with different fasteners, caulking methods, and working in a controlled manufacturing environment with strict safety standards and an ISO9001:2015 quality system.
- Experience in utilizing metalworking equipment (Shear, Brake, Chop Saw, etc.)
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, sketches, and assembly work instructions
- Forklift experience
- MIG welding and plasma arc cutting experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Background check and drug screening are required.
- Complete Time Reporting Sheets
- Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
- Operate tools associated with fabrication, such as drill presses, magnetic and hand drills, and various saws used in metal cutting.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, sketches, and assembly work instructions
- Identify assembly and production issues to lead or supervise
- Listens and follows directions from leads and supervisors
- Must be familiar with the hand tools required to perform the position
- Must exhibit quality workmanship
- Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
- Must verify conformance of work to specifications
- Participate in the safety program
- Report inventory uses as required

Work Environment
- Ability to work 10 hours per day
- Ability to work weekends as required
- Able to lift 35 lbs. consistently
