Job Profile

The company is hiring a Fabricator who will work collaboratively with the fabrication shop.

Education Level

• High School Diploma (credible)

Work Experience

• 2 years of welding experience or educational equivalent (preferred)
• Experience with Mig, Arc, Dual Shield, cutting torch, and metal cutting band saw

Duties/Responsibilities

• Apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds
• Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products
• Perform precision layout work and accurately read and interpret blueprints/plans, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Possibility to work at other divisions, requiring travel
• Provide fabrication support for our manufacturing facilities
• Overtime is sometimes expected during busy production times

• Demonstrated ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work
• Follows safety procedures
• Measures and marks materials
• Operates fabrication machinery
• Reads blueprints and schematics
• Uses welding and cutting tools

Work Environment

• Exposure to loud noise and machinery
• May handle heavy materials
• Stands for long periods
• Wears safety gear regularly
• Works in manufacturing or shop settings
