Job Profile

The company is seeking a Fabricator II who will be responsible for resistance welding or riveting parts according to prescribed methods and specifications.

Additionally, serves as a quality checkpoint for the quality of welds and rivets.

Educational Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution (required)

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Inspect parts and quality of welds using a variety of measuring tools
• Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton’s 5S procedures
• Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton’s Quality standards and systems
• Perform rework operations as required
• Resistance weld or rivet parts according to prescribed methods specifications
• Set up resistance welder to include selecting tips, posts, arms, tooling, welder control settings, air pressure, etc.
• Train employees new to the Fabricator II role
• Work independently and alongside others in the department
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Internal Candidates

• Must not be on a written or a final written warning
• Employees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months of service time in their current role before moving to the new role

Others

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Cleveland, TN area (50 miles) will be considered for this position
