Job Profile

The company (Cytiva) is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for supporting the preventive maintenance program by carrying out effective maintenance routines and repairs, prolonging its useful life, and optimizing the efficiency of facilities equipment.

Education Level

• Hold a 1-year technical certificate with basic skills in mechanical, electronics, instrumentation, or related fields.

Work Experience

• Experience in following appropriate Work Order tasks related to maintenance and facilities activities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and adhere to EHS regulations and policies.
• Perform maintenance on buildings, equipment, and production machinery, which may involve hazardous conditions like welding, grinding, and electrical work. Extra hours and weekend work may be required, along with cross-functional collaboration with the Process Maintenance team.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation, aligning with lean thinking and maintenance best practices.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel within four sites in the same city.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working within clearly defined standard operating procedures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.
