The company is seeking a General Assembler (EG) to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Possess 1 year of manufacturing production experience (required)
- Previous welding experience (desirable)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Diversified assembly or adjusting duties such as complete assembly of units involving a number of parts or erection of larger units having a limited number of parts and fairly liberal tolerances.
- Requires fitting and adjusting to meet the operating requirements of products.
- May also assemble minor units or a small number of usually standardized products.
- May operate a power lift truck.
- Sets up and operates one or more machines in production departments.
- Performs simple assembly operations.
- Reads a tape measure, simple blueprints, and operates power hand tools, performs soldering operations, and uses a welding torch.
- Involve bench assembly operations on lightweight parts or large assemblies requiring overhead crane or lift truck assistance.
- Works on basic machines such as drill presses, cut-off saws, belt sanders, and with deburring tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to operate basic power hand tools i.e. deburring, pneumatic tooling, electric grinder, heat gun, familiarity with torches
- Ability to perform basic math
- Knowledge of basic instrumentation
- Mechanically-inclined
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
