Job Profile

The company is searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating heaving equipment in an efficient, safe, and appropriate manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life while supporting construction activities.

The position will work under the guidance and direction of the site foreman or direct supervisor.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Ground Disturbance Level 2
• First Aid and H2S

Work Experience

• Possess pipeline experience (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in various meetings such as monthly safety meetings, pre-job, and tailgate meetings
• Experience working around live pipelines is an asset
• Looking for Boom Hands, Dozer Hands, Hoe Hands
• Perform other activities at construction sites as directed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work outside in extreme weather
• Capable of following directions that are spoken or given by hand signals
• Capable of working well on a team or individually
• Detail-oriented with a mechanical aptitude
• Must be capable of getting to the designated job site
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Valid driver’s license
