Job Profile

The company is looking for a Journeyperson Welder to join its manufacturing team.

This position will report to a Mine Maintenance Supervisor.

This position is not available for remote work.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should be Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Red Seal Welder

Work Experience

• Possess previous experience in an industrial environment (an asset)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Participate in safety meetings and inspections, and follow standard operating procedures
• Plan, layout, and use trade skills for assigned work
• Welding, fabricating and cutting to develop, maintain and repair equipment
• Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to work in an underground environment
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as self-guided
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive safety behavior and safety leadership
• Stable work record
• Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
