Job Profile

The company is searching for a Lead Maintenance Technician who should have strong leadership skills in the maintenance field.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have completed a minimum 2 years of Technical School

Work Experience

• Must have at least 2 years of experience supervising and leading a team
• At least 3 years of experience working in an industrial field
• Experience working with Plastic Thermoforming or Extrusion processes
• Forklift experience (a plus)
• Welding experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Completion of required documentation to meet Safety, Environmental and Pactiv Production system elements
• Directly overseeing plant start-up and shutdown procedures to save energy and prevent machine wear
• Lead and supervise the parts crib stocking and storage strategy to meet the goals of our MRO inventory reduction plan
• Manage and Drive the Preventative Maintenance Program
• Responsible for education and training, and leadership of up to 15 employees and their daily work assignments
• Schedule resources to complete scheduled inspections and component replacement plans, as required
• Support and follow the Process Safety Management Program elements

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to provide outstanding Safety, Performance, and Attendance
• Basic computer skills and great interpersonal skills
• Good performance, safety, and attendance records
• Knowledge of the following e.g., SAP and Microsoft Office (a plus)
• Must be able to safely operate forklifts and man lifts as required
• Must have own Mechanic tools
• Must possess strong leadership skills
• Need to be open to any shift
• Possible daily lifting of up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and Pactiv certification required; training provided
• Willingness to work any shift and rotate through the on-call schedule
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
