Job Profile
The company is seeking a Lead Welder who will be able to interact with all Production teammates and who can do their own fixturing and set up their own processes completely independently.
Need to be extremely fast-paced, self-motivated, team players who can keep their area clean and organized, and can MIG and TIG stainless steel safely, proficiently, and quickly
Work heavily on the electrical enclosures, specifically the doors and panels along with finishing and grinding the weldments.
The role mostly requires MIG welding 14ga CRS, stud welding, and doing cosmetic post-weld grinding and material handling. Also, help with other welding needs as capacity allows/requires.
Educational Qualification
- No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Possess experience with band saws, circular saws, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
- Experienced with cosmetic grinding of Sheet metal panels
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure quality of work, check own work and work of others in the department
- Material handling of raw goods and finished weldments
- MIG welding mild steel Sheet metal
- Regularly handle electrical panel frames and door weldments in excess of 65lbs
- Self-starter, highly motivated working in a fast-paced department
- TIG/MIG welding stainless steel components
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction
- Able to read blueprints
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift at least 65+ lbs.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Stand a minimum of 8 hours per day
