The company is recruiting a Machine Repairer II to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

  • 2 years of education related to production equipment maintenance, or 5 years of work experience specific to working in Production Maintenance

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist higher-grade Mechanics with more difficult repair operations.
  • Follow machine assembly drawings, manufacturer’s manuals, general instructions, and standard practices to locate the source of trouble, disassemble, repair, adjust, align, replace or install parts, and reassemble, ensuring safe operation of complex CNC Machinery.
  • Lubricate, clean, inspect, and perform other preventive maintenance operations per manufacturer’s specifications and standard procedures to maintain machines and equipment.
  • Make up brackets, straps, and other simple parts.
  • Perform other machine maintenance and repair operations where trouble may be difficult to locate and clues can be given relative to symptoms and components or parts requiring attention.
  • Repair and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and parts, install new units or fixtures on machines, and make modifications or alterations following instructions or manufacturers’ specifications and directions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Read, interpret, and comprehend mechanical schematics.
  • Think critically, the drive to determine how production equipment works and to break down and repair it to a component level.
  • Work in a team environment, sharing the skills and knowledge of the group.
