Job Profile
The company is hiring a Machine Shop Supervisor who will deliver high-precision, high-quality machined components that are critical to Terran R’s success.
Combine technical skill with creativity, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to drive better part designs and manufacturing solutions.
Work with best-in-class, premium machinery and get to bring our expanded, state-of-the-art machine shop to life to support the scale and pace of the Terran R program.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)
Work Experience
- Experience in administrating/delegating daily work assignments to your team
- Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their impact on the production system
- Experience implementing key system improvements and measuring success
- Experience in the manufacture of highly controlled aerospace products
- Experience leading high-performing teams of people leaders
Duties/Responsibilities
- Full ownership and accountability over several teams of CNC operators
- Lead the team of people leaders for the Ops floor
- Mentor and coach your team to develop their personal career goals
- Support longer-term strategic operations on the shop floor
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with safety and quality standards
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of machining and tooling
Work Environment
- May work irregular hours or overtime
- Oversees machine operations and staff
- Stands and walks frequently throughout shifts
- Wears safety gear (glasses, boots, etc.)
- Works in noisy, industrial shop environments
