Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct minor preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• Includes Tech Cell and Job Shop assignments.
• Inspect and gauge parts according to work instructions.
• Make tool offsets in CNC programs as needed.
• Perform proper setups on all machines per the work instructions provided.
• Repair fixtures and tooling.
• Track and document hourly production as necessary.
• Train as necessary.
• Unpack, wash, and repack shipments as required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and write.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Pass a proficiency test and complete the Machine General training course.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Read and understand CNC programming language.
• Use basic hand tools to carry out minor preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Use of inspection instruments.

Work Environment

• Exposed to noise, vibrations, and machine emissions
• May work in shifts, including nights and weekends
• Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Sometimes deals with tight spaces and high temperatures
• Works in a factory or industrial environment
