Job Profile

The company is looking for a Machinist to join its team.

The position will report to Operations Manager.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet applicants may be required a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience with CNC machines (lathes and mills)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicate production status to management
• Maintain clean and safe work area by following procedures and complying with written and verbal instructions
• Move and stage material as appropriate for the machine centers
• Set up, run, and Inspect production parts
• Support other areas within the factory as needed
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policies

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to perform needed machine adjustments, insert changes, and set-ups
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
• Ability to run machine, measure parts, and make necessary machine/program adjustments
• Ability to work in a team environment, and ask questions if needed
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities

Work Conditions

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push and pull with no difficulties
• Be on your feet during the work shift
• Clearly communicate issues
