Job Profile
The company is recruiting a CNC Machinist who will be primarily responsible for setting up the CNC Machine, loading materials into the CNC Vertical Mills, monitoring the machine during operations, deburring parts, and performing quality checks.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)
Work Experience
- Experience setting up CNC vertical mills, HAAS or FADAL (preferred)
- Familiarity with Calipers/Micrometers
Duties/Responsibilities
- Able to meet standardized production times related to the product being made
- May help train less experienced team members
- Monitor part quality and identify rejects
- Set-up and operation of CNC Machines to convert raw materials into finished products
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure and other measurement devices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Work Environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk throughout the shift
- Ability to use required PPE
- General use of air and hand tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work overtime based on business needs
