Job Profile

The company is hiring a Machinist General Specialist who will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce metal parts and mechanisms with exacting tolerances and dimensions.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Previous experience in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, and tool setting.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Determining the sequence of operations and making standard shop computations
  • Fitting and assembling precision parts into mechanical equipment
  • Interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications
  • Measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions and reference points
  • Setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes
  • Using machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • The selected candidate must be a US citizen.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, SPC, and basic knowledge of CNC programming.
