Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Machinist III who will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of the parts produced, contributing to the overall success of our aerospace business.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate’s Degree in machining or a related field

Work Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a machinist, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Experience with programming and setting up CNC machines

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other equipment to produce precision parts
  • Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and make necessary adjustments
  • Operate and maintain various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce precision parts according to specifications

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines and other machining equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Work Environment

  • Exposure to noise, metal debris, coolants, and machinery
  • Must follow safety standards and wear protective equipment
  • Operates advanced CNC and manual machines
  • Requires precision work while standing for long periods
  • Works in manufacturing or machine shop environments
