Job Profile
The company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who will work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Work Experience
- Possess 1+ years of maintenance experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Able to supervise and communicate the necessary maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds equipment, and production facilities.
- Administer labor agreements consistently
- Confirm compliance and remain current with OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste handling, and other regulations
- Deliver support in making equipment and staffing decisions to support long-term business levels
- Evaluate group and individual performance through both formal and informal reviews
- Lead industry practices such as 5S, TPM, Kaizen programs, and cost reduction in the area assigned
- Manage day-to-day operations to maximize production while reducing costs and improving quality, on-time delivery, and safety
- Monitor and take steps to improve record accuracy within the job function
- Responsible for supervision and leadership of bargaining unit hourly employees
- Supply training and cross-training for all hourly employees
- Support and promote strong safety culture
- Working knowledge of maintenance and facilities support services functions, and related operating practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or two-year technical degree (preferred)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement, and coaching
- Waste Water Treatment experience
- Welding experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Aggressive self-starter
- Knowledge of CNC, Manual Machines, HVAC, Pneumatic, and general Electrical experience
- Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite and maintenance management software
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal with both hourly and salaried personnel
