Job Profile

The company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will primarily be responsible for preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment following standards.

Support the production, quality, cost, and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities.

Education Level

  • Electrical Degree, Diploma, or Certification of completion for studies of electricity (a plus)

Work Experience

  • Industrial maintenance or military experience
  • Experience working with or repairing robots (a plus)
  • Experience with Milling Machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders, or programming CNC Machines (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.).
  • Assemble, design, and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
  • Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
  • Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machine components.
  • Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Available to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Technical knowledge and skills in PLCs, Computers and Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics
