Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Maintenance Technician who will provide mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic installation, repair, and troubleshooting support to all areas of manufacturing.
Responsible for quality and conformance of product to customer specifications per control plans utilizing TS16949 & ISO14001 documented systems; authority to stop non-conforming processes and report same to supervisor, Quality Assurance, or Engineering department representative.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Work Experience
- Possess 2 or more years of work experience (required)
- Basic Electricity
- Hydraulics
- Industrial Maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Pneumatics
Duties/Responsibilities
- Disassemble and repair clutch and brake assemblies with supervision
- Inspect equipment condition utilizing established Preventive Maintenance procedures
- Install production and support equipment in conjunction with Engineering and Production guidelines under the direct supervision
- Maintenance welding and cutting using electrode arc welder, MIG (metal inert gas) welder, and oxyacetylene welding and cutting equipment
- Must be able to use basic mechanical equipment and hand tools for equipment repair
- Read basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication prints
- Repair gear, belt, and chain drives with supervision
- Repair lubrication systems with supervision
- Repair shaft bearings and seal assemblies with supervision
- Seek Continuous Improvement opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce waste
- To use and maintain necessary documentation such as machine history, Preventative Maintenance check sheets, work orders, and logbooks
- Ability to adhere to and perform all essential safety procedures
