Job Profile

The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to join its team.

Education Level

  • Trade School certified as an industrial Electrician/Millwright or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

Work Experience

  • 3 years of maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive JIT.
  • Experience operating a powdered industrial forklift and performing aerial work.
  • Fabrication experience, including blueprint reading/interpretation, machining (lathe, Bridgeport, and bandsaw), and welding.

License/Certification

  • Journey worker certification (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply measurements in both the Imperial and Metric systems
  • Use measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and measuring tape.
  • Read/understand ladder logic PLC systems.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Basic computer skills, including e-mail management and task management software.

Work Environment

  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and shop tools.
