Job Profile
The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to join its team.
Education Level
- Trade School certified as an industrial Electrician/Millwright or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Work Experience
- 3 years of maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive JIT.
- Experience operating a powdered industrial forklift and performing aerial work.
- Fabrication experience, including blueprint reading/interpretation, machining (lathe, Bridgeport, and bandsaw), and welding.
License/Certification
- Journey worker certification (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply measurements in both the Imperial and Metric systems
- Use measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and measuring tape.
- Read/understand ladder logic PLC systems.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Basic computer skills, including e-mail management and task management software.
Work Environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and shop tools.
