Job Profile

The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician/Welder for its quarry operations. The role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter, and will have responsibilities.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet applicants may be required a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Experience welding and cutting
• Plant maintenance and utility experience, preferably in a quarry environment
• Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, and screen for plant
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on the plant
• Inspect and perform repairs as needed for the plant
• Involved with Plant Improvement Projects
• Operating Production Equipment
• Routine Equipment/Plant Maintenance
• Splice belts
• Other duties as assigned by management

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and a 3 pm – 1 am shift
• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required
