Job Profile

The company is looking to hire a Material Handler to join its team for production works.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants require a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist welders/operators with lifting and moving materials.
• Empty chip and scrap buckets into the correct receptacle.
• Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Investigate and resolve identified problems with orders.
• Load/Unload trucks and document transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives.
• Move material to appropriate areas throughout the plant and document in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform cycle counts in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform forklift audit and preventative maintenance.
• Pull orders/components and deliver to appropriate areas.
• Support area with damage-free skids and pans.
• Use the appropriate software systems to verify the status of inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass the Fork Lift Certification process
• Possess basic computer operating and data entry skills with knowledge of shipping software.
