Job Profile

The company is searching for a Material Handler who will be responsible for all bin-to-bin transactions as well as the physical movement of material to and from PRD and various machines in support of high-volume production.

Be responsible for cycle counts and be responsible for the accuracy of the inventory.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Experience with WMS (preferred). Detail-oriented, self-confident and assured, tactful, supportive.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall accuracy of the inventory.
• Move material to the shipping doc
• Perform 5s duties as prescribed for your area
• Perform cycle counts as material is dropped to SFG from Loc1
• Perform daily power truck inspection on the narrow aisle truck and the Barrett truck.
• Perform incoming inspection to determine that the material matches the su and coil tag. Top coil
• Perform Loc1 cycle counts
• Pick palletized orders for weld centers as needed.
• Pick STO orders for weld centers as needed
• Picks coils for band orders.
• Print labels for coil travelers
• Pull material for coil wind orders.
• Put all incoming material into the location/add up all coil tags, and determine if they match the su quantity
• Put pieces of coils back into the location from the prior days’ bands.
• Request material from other storage locations
• Work with other focus factories to resolve material short or overage issues and correct inventory.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have a very high attention to detail.
• Must have excellent computer skills and be adept at learning new systems/procedures.

Work Environment

• Exposure to noise and varying temperatures
• Follows safety and handling procedures
• May lift heavy loads or operate forklifts
• Moves and organizes materials and products
• Works in warehouses, factories, or shipping areas
