Job Profile

The company is seeking a Materials/Processes Engineer who will support the metallurgical and welding activities.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering (college/university)

Work Experience

• Possess 4+ years of relevant engineering experience in a production environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for metallic materials as well as welding, soldering, and brazing operations.
• Troubleshoot process problems, interface with internal and external customers, write specifications and procedures, and train operators on processing techniques.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to create Materials & Processes engineering documents, such as procurement specifications and assembly instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment under tight schedules and coordinate multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of engineering materials, as it pertains to a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of metals, joining, and metallurgical concepts.
• Must be able to perform technical problem-solving and work closely with production personnel
• Proficiency with materials laboratory equipment and test plans
