Job Profile
The company is looking for a Mechanical/Controls Engineer to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum 6 years of manufacturing experience (with working knowledge of welding, assembly, automation, tooling, and related processes) or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in metal Joining
- Experienced in PLC and HMI programming, preferably Allen Bradley platform
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and modify Allen Bradley platform PLC logic
- Design component details, and tooling assemblies utilizing Autodesk software 2D and 3D
- Modify Robotic position, code, data, parameters, and I/O (Fanuc)
- Setup, and maintain control parameters for GMAW and resistance welding (WTC, Bosch, Lincoln, Fronius)
- Train, coach and mentor the welding process for quality, manufacturing, and skilled trades colleagues
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge in robotic programming (ABB, Fanuc robots, etc.)
- Working knowledge of welding processes
