Job Profile

The company is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician who will support operations and perform maintenance work on industrial equipment and machinery.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED (required)

Work Experience

• Possess 1 year of mechanical knowledge (preferred)
• 1 year of programmable logic controllers (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Competent in ARC Flash procedures.
• Competent to inspect, audit, and perform rigging tasks on sprinkler lines, poly tube lines, pro press fittings, pipe threading, and pipe bending when necessary.
• Fabricate parts and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain mechanical components and perform precision maintenance.
• Participates in the safety program
• Perform welding and cutting when required.
• Understand and be able to troubleshoot PLCs, PID loops, variable speed drives, and low and medium-voltage motor controls.
• Understanding of LOTO procedures
• Works to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the mill and OSHA.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively across departments, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment such as saws, machining equipment, torches, and welders.
• Able to perform at heights, in confined spaces, ability to lift 50 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills-

• JDE or another CMMS systems knowledge
• Knowledge of paper mill processes and equipment
• OSHA 300 certification
