Job Profile
The company is looking for an NPD Quality Technician who will support business strategies by implementing innovative engineered systems, building a world-class lean enterprise, and developing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing sustainable manufacturing production processes.
Work with a fully cross-functional team focused on new product introductions and deliver quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements while preserving project schedules and timelines.
Educational Qualification

Work Experience
- Integrated manufacturing experience in one or more of the following like machining, fabrication, welding, electrical systems, and assembly processes.
- HVAC or heavy industrial manufacturing environment experience (preferred)
- CAD experience (a plus)
- Lean and Six Sigma experience (a plus)
- Oracle/Apriso experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Acumen with basic mathematics (adding, subtracting, fractional and decimal measurements, and conversions).
- Check, test, and inspect raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods.
- Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
- Develop and document work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing.
- Lead and serve as a resource for issue containment, investigations, problem-solving, statistical studies, and corrective action planning and execution.
- Load/Unload/Transport material with a forklift or other PIV as required.
- Participate in NPD/VAVE project builds.
- Records results and uploads documents for technical reporting.
- Serve as a resource for cause/effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
- Serve as a voice of the customer for new design development.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Support qualification of new and revised parts using the Production Part Approval Process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables through a stage gate process.
- Works alone with limited supervision on a small team and communicates to project team members and supervisors on a consistent basis.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Delivering timely results, customer-focused, planning skills, decision-making skills, self-starter, and earning trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity is a must.
- Hands-on aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment, and tools, and ability to obtain certifications (a must)
- Must be able to communicate using a computer.
- Must be able to obtain certifications for material handling (crane, PIT, etc.)
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings/blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Must be able to use measuring equipment and tools.
