Job Profile

The company is seeking an Overhead Crane Technician who will perform maintenance and repairs to Phillips 66 Sweeny Complex mobile and stationary equipment to ensure the equipment is available, reliable, and safe to operate.

Education Level

  • Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Advise the Garage Mechanic Supervisor of required major repairs or replacements to mobile and stationary equipment
  • Assist in maintaining PM records and repair logs.
  • Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Assist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in setting up third-party inspections on cranes
  • Inspect mobile and stationary equipment for defects or required repairs
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to all safety standards
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment including front-end loaders, forklifts, cranes, pumps, stationary engines, and generators.
  • Perform repairs to mobile and stationary equipment
  • Perform other related duties.

  • Forklifts-Case Rough Terrain and Doosan, Toyota, Yale (Warehouse Type)
  • Generators-Mulitquip, Kohler, Onan

  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and programs
  • Knowledge of procedures for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of mobile and stationary equipment
  • Knowledge of record-keeping systems
  • Knowledge of when to contact other trade-persons or professionals to complete a task or repair
  • Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
