Job Profile
The company sis recruiting a Precision Assembler I who will perform assembly work in a station or line to produce medical devices in an FDA-regulated and controlled environment.
Provides support to the department through advanced job knowledge, flexibility to perform various job functions, and training others.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Manufacturing production experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to Shop Practices, including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment, and following standard work.
- Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Inform Team Lead of any problems with production, parts, equipment, or processes.
- May perform the following: operate injection molding machine, apply light-cure adhesives, crimping, swaging, weaving, tying, and resistance welding, and other duties as needed.
- Meet quality assurance requirements, including completing proper paperwork, following good documentation practices, and performing process monitoring.
- Perform assembly-type functions, using various hand tools and bench-top pneumatic presses.
- Promote and provide a safe working environment.
- Support new hires during the Orientation and training process.
- Within the LEAN Manufacturing environment, make safety observations and participate in idea generation and 5S activities.
- Work in multiple production areas within the home department and across Value Streams.

- Ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Attention to small details
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Manual dexterity and steady hands
