Job Profile

The company is hiring a Process Engineer who will evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a college/university
• Aerospace Focused Engineering degree (e.g., Manufacturing, Process, Structural, Power Plant, etc.)

Work Experience

• Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a fast-paced, collaborative Process Engineer role, joining Chromalloy (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
• Supports manufacturing issues in real time.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Proven Successes utilizing lean manufacturing or six sigma
• Must be a US Citizen
