Job Profile

The company (Paragon Medical, a division of MW Industries) is looking to hire a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for leading multiple departments and carrying out organizational objectives for profitability and sustainability.

The position will report to the Manufacturing Operations Manager.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, or a related field from a college/university

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety within departments, including the appropriate use of proper PPE
• Assists engineers in NPI/RP processes, as needed
• Conduct employee reviews, and any counseling for associates in assigned departments
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of manufacturing policies
• Oversee production, assigning roles and responsibilities
• Recruit, train, and develop employees
• Review and complete required daily documentation
• Set, track, and approve production schedules
• Support and facilitate continuous improvement efforts within assigned departments
• Support team leads to overcome production constraints

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle pressure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality work
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent management, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Computer literacy using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position including sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Expected to perform actions that include bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, or pulling objects.
• Be required to communicate with others and work in a noisy environment
