Job Profile

The company is looking for a Production Technician (Assembler) who will be responsible for performing multi-functional assembly functions in a product development setting.

Expected to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the building (assembly) of our product. Tasks may vary by work area and work assignments may change based on business demands.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma (minimum)
  • Educational qualification to be a Manufacturing Technician (required)
  • A Technical Diploma or Associate Degree (an added advantage)

Work Experience

  • Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all applicable quality and work procedures
  • Assist engineers in building prototypes or new products
  • Build electronic devices based on reading schematics
  • Build product subassemblies or final assemblies
  • Clean production equipment or work areas
  • Fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of the refrigeration system, using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Install new equipment
  • Learn to identify and correct or advise, on technical/operational issues
  • Maintain inventory of job materials
  • Obtain a general understanding of all products and applications related to company-offered products/services
  • Package finished products
  • Provide hands-on support to the Engineers
  • Separate scrap or waste materials for recycling, reuse, or environmentally sound disposal
  • Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
  • Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment
  • Start up and shut down production equipment

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Basic experience with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for email communication.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
  • Ability to help solve practical problems and deal with a variety of technical variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands
