Job Profile

The company is searching for a Project Engineer with Fabsuite experience and a background in structural and miscellaneous steel.

This role will be an important part of the project management team and will be the leader of the production department.

Educational Qualification

  • No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Possess 5+ years of experience with an AISC certified Fabricator
  • 3+ years of experience with Fabsuite (Tekla PowerFab)
  • Tekla detailing or drafting experience (a plus)
  • Fitting/welding experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create a bill of materials, including multing and nesting, via Fabsuite
  • Manage shipping and receiving, as well as inventory via Fabsuite
  • Process KISS files and NC files
  • Support project managers in all aspects of the project management and production functions

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read fabrication drawings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Be a self-starter with a passion for building things
