Job Profile

The company is hiring a Project Manager (Service) who will respond to service sales inquiries generated from account contacts by obtaining detailed equipment information and developing an appropriate quote in order to direct and operate a mobile fan repair unit operation.

Mobile fan repair units consist of welding, machining, and balancing equipment mounted on trucks and trailers, various measuring instruments, miscellaneous hand and power tools, and any other necessary tools and equipment.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 2-4 years of experience (project managing service)
• 2-4 years in a supervisory role

Duties/Responsibilities

• Analyzes product and service acceptance and determines or recommends any necessary changes
• Collects competitive product or service information as available
• Conduct all work safely and professionally.
• Conduct work in a professional and presentable manner.
• Contacts various sources to secure temporary personnel to operate mobile unit equipment as needed
• Develops cost and quote information
• Directs or assists hired personnel in operating mobile unit equipment to make fan repairs if needed
• Drive mobile repair unit to the customer site
• Maintains and insures proper maintenance of mobile equipment units and other company equipment and tools
• Makes recommendations for new or improved service procedures
• Prepares detailed service sales effort and expense information reports.
• Prepares quotes and submits to General Manager for approval
• Provides all pertinent information related to location, size, sales potential, fan application, and detail
• Provides information to the customer on all Robinson products and services
• Receives specific assignments from the General Manager
• Responds to inquiries arising from solicitations by sales representatives, phone contacts, etc. by inspecting fan equipment, determining repair or replacement requirements, and making necessary adjustments and drawings

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Basic Math skills to use mathematical techniques to calculate data or solve practical problems related to this position.
• Must have a solid mechanical aptitude, have the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, and customer requests, and have a strong understanding of industrial estimations and jobs
• Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Physical and mental ability to gather and interpret data related to specifications, customer and engineering requirements, manufacturing operations, etc.
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
