Job Profile

The company (Freeman Enclosure Systems) is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector who can uphold the safety policies the company, has created and oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet our high standard of quality.

Be responsible for performing inspection/testing on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specification is being met and company quality standards are followed.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may require a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Any other task assigned by Quality Manager or designee
• Assist in customer testing (sound, run, water, etc.)
• Assist production with engineering/customer-related issues or questions
• Maintain inventory of work-related materials (zip ties, tags, paperwork, etc.)
• Perform inspections on the floor and where needed
• Repair, replace, and calibrate tape measures and gauges as needed
• Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
• Perform the assigned tasks, such as-
  -Inspections
  -Final Inspections
  -Sign in/out of gauges for production
  -Tank certification testing
  -U/L label placement
  -All other tasks assigned by Quality Manager or other leadership

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills with production personnel and management
• Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectation
• Understanding of welding and sheet metal preferred, but not required
• Visual Acuity

Work Environment

• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required
