Job Profile
The company is looking for a Quality Control Inspector who will support the production goals through consistent quality work.
Be responsible for ensuring that finished goods meet all customer quality requirements
Must inspect machined parts to ensure they meet customer standards prior to shipment.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma
Work Experience
- Possess 3-5 years of machine shop experience
- Welding and Piping fabrication experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adheres to all company quality, and safety policies/procedures and maintains a clean work environment.
- Dimensionally inspects machined parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments.
- Generates final inspection, material certs, and required customer documentation labels.
- Liaison between the quality and production personnel.
- Maintains equipment in a clean manner.
- Maintains inspection records and logs inspection data, NCRs.
- Performs incoming material inspection according to establishing standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and operator instructions
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments, height gauges, and calibration of hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Basic Math skills, shop math trigonometry
- Bilingual a plus
- Customer service skills
- Fabrication skills
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) MT and PT (with minimum Certificate of attendance to formal training for 40 hours of classroom/online training)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 45 pounds
- Communication Skills
- Mobility in plant
- Visual hearing abilities with or without correction
