Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Sales Engineer who will respond to customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, fax, or chat to provide problem resolution.

Resolves problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer.

Analyzes a customer’s needs and coordinates with other service or technical departments to develop and deliver an appropriate solution for each customer.

Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the organization and services offered to resolve more complex inquiries.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a college/university

Work Experience

• Possess work-relayed experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and account managers to obtain quote feedback
• Receive and process customer’s requests for quotes including reviewing the drawing, quality, and manufacturing requirements
• Support lead generation and sales initiatives
• Supports Belleville sales effort
• Work with purchasing and outside sourcing to obtain vendor quotes
• Works with customers on the application and design of Belleville Springs
• Supports Customer Service, manufacturing, quality, and shipping as needed-
  -Coordination with Quality to ensure customers’ requests for PPAPs, ISIRs, or special certifications and labeling are required.
  -Maintain constant contact with Engineering to ensure the proper revisions of part numbers are used, the proper quantities have been quoted, and changes are reviewed accurately.
  -Support overflow from customer service in handling irate customer calls when parts are late or non-conforming.
  -Support overflow from customer service in providing the status of their orders, requests to move in and out, requests to cancel, and requests to be notified when an order is going to ship or be late.

• Maintain and manages engineering data for Belleville products-
  -Maintains drawing files
  -Maintains Inspection requirements
  -Maintains work instructions or engineering masters
  -Performs “Technical Review” on new parts and part revisions

• Detail orientated
• Highly motivated
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be an analytical thinker
• Negotiation skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ERP Experience is a must
