Job Profile
The company is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounts.
Assist in month-end close duties such as preparing journal entries, providing data for business units, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college/university (required)
Work Experience
- Possess 3 to 5+ years of experience in general accounting and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyzes shipments, standard cost valuations, production variance, and other costs analysis.
- Completes all monthly reports on a timely basis with zero defects.
- Drives continuous process improvements.
- Performs the monthly accounting close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entry postings.
- Prepares and analyzes cost reports.
- Prepares forecasts for Shipments, Absorption, Inventory, Variances, etc.
- Reviews transaction errors to insure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records.
- Reviews variances to determine the cause.
- Support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and related audits.
- Supports annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation.
- Supports annual standard cost process as well as quarterly cost movement reviews.
- Supports CAPEX process and related tracking and reconciliations.
- Supports new product development, productivity initiatives, and benefits tracking.
- Other Adhoc requests/projects.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- High level of proficiency in MS Office products, Oracle or equivalent ERP/manufacturing application, OneStream, Tableau, and Alteryx experience a plus
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles)
- Sound business knowledge applicable to a manufacturing environment.
