Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related discipline. Other graduates with relevant core quality management experience can be considered.
• Auditor certification in ISO14001/ISO45001 is an additional advantage
• Certifications like welding inspector (CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI), IWE/IWT, Coating NACE/BGAS, NDT level III, ASQ manager (preferred)

Work Experience

• Possess 12 to 16 years of experience in quality with major experience in quality management.
• Experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Major Fabrication, EPC/3rd party certification agency
• Management Representative Experience will be an added advantage

Duties/Responsibilities

• Developing/updating quality management system local work instructions in alignment with global work instructions. Actively contribute to developing global work instructions for business processes.
• Effectively percolate global quality Initiatives in respective execution centers and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Ensure quality business process-specific standards, procedures, work instructions, and the template is adhered to and monitor compliance in the internal, project, or external audit.
• Ensure quality management system (including project quality) related input to pursuits/proposal business process during tendering stage
• Implementation, documentation, and execution of the Quality Management System including the QA/QC system across the execution center and regional suppliers/fabricators.
• Lead ISO9001 activities like quality management certification/surveillance audits, awareness programs, process improvement, etc.
• Lead management reviews and ensure closure of review actions.
• Monitor inspection/QC activities at supplier’s or Emerson manufacturing plants including the witness of material identification and testing, welding/fabrication, NDE, Dimension test, Hydro test, FAT, etc. as per relevant international codes, standards, project specifications, etc.
• Monitor inspections of raw material, piping bulk components (pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, etc.), and fabricated components like piping, structures, and pressure vessel, etc. for domestic or international projects.
• Monitor QA/QC concerns highlighted by the client and ensure that product non-conformances/issues are properly investigated, and corrective actions are proposed and/or implemented until a satisfactory closure
• Monitor the review process of supplier procedures (welding, NDE, coating, heat treatment), inspection and test plan, test reports, manufacturing record books, and client approval.
• Monitor suppliers/fabricator quality performance recording and development process.
• Monitor, compile, analyze and report quality objectives like Cost of Quality project execution satisfaction survey, post-delivery quality, etc. and present during management reviews.
• Performing/supervising internal audits, and project audits and ensuring that quality management system non-conformances/observations are properly investigated, corrections or corrective actions are performed by business processes and audit findings are closed.
• Prepare business processes for quality management system certification/surveillance audits, facilitate external audits, and ensure external audit finding closure.
• Regularly update quality competency matrix, training plans, training records, risks, opportunities, etc.
• Report complete Quality progress to Global Quality Manager at a defined frequency and support wherever requested.
• Supervise organizational quality objectives, customer feedback is monitored and analyzed regularly.
• Supervise prequalification assessments of suppliers/fabricators and suppliers/fabricator QMS audits. Ensure satisfactory closure of audit findings and update the approved vendor list.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and quality culture
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Well-conversant with MS office, word, PowerPoint and data analysis, etc.
• Well-conversant with National and International Codes/Standards related to material, NDE, Welding, Coating, etc.
