Job Profile
The company is hiring a Storage Tank Welder who will use potentially dangerous equipment, follow all safety precautions, and pay great attention to the knowledge of working with various materials to fabricate and assemble quality tanks.

Work Experience
- Hands-on experience in welding and fabricating storage tanks: hanging steel, working with tank fit-up tools/equipment, jumping scaffolding, and grinding.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the working environment.
- Check welded surfaces and structures for flaws by testing and inspecting them.
- Compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of tank erection tools: key plates, bull pins, u-bars, strong backs, hammers, and grinders
- Maintain welding equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Manual and semi-automatic welding equipment can be used in various positions to weld components.
- Perform welding tasks on storage tanks, including a variety of welding techniques.
- Prepare the appropriate welding methods and equipment based on requirements.
- Proficiency in working with different materials
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding up to heights of 60 ft. and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Working in heat and cold weather.
Preferred Requirements
- A team-oriented and can-do attitude is a must.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and support overall project objectives.
- Eligible to work in the US with a valid driver’s license
- Must pass 2G/3G/4G weld test in Flux Core (FCAW) and Stick (SMAW).
- Must pass a pre-employment/random alcohol and drug screens.
- Travel to job sites across the country is required (75%).
